What Is That?
After 6 more month in Taiwan I’m back on Swedish ground to finish my thesis and as of now I do nothing but working on the report. It is about half as fun as it sounds ![]()
I will write a more informative post whenever I find some time, for now I just liked to share a little picture from my report. I find it quite cool.
Basically this is what I’v dedicated myself to since August last year, constructing triangle meshes (right) from unstructured point sets (left).

It time for the ten-million dollar question.
What is it in the picture?
a turd?
nope. its not.
Stomach? Isn’t that the appendix pointing out? Or maybe a root? The Ebbe-root? The one that makes him not fly away when it is extra windy outside?
Or is it a part of the brain? The part that had Ebbe draw’n such droodle?
Nicke. I have to give you a point for the stomach even though it is really the intestines. But the second part of the question remains; what animal?
Shit ebbst, this is just to easy. It is a part of the stomach of the famous Kebab-animal. You could send me the money in monopoly dollars. =0)
Hoppas det löste sig med opponenterna, ha de gött.
//Philip
I’ve have to go with Philip on that one. But it might aswell be the Kebab-bird. I am not a biologist nor am I a florist so I don’t know the specific requistits on the both animals but it has to do something with kebab.
mmm, kebab… mmmmmm…
But to be honest, i do not want to have this animal in my kebab.. It would be too close to the *** in the pizza (hint hint, blink blink).

Ah it’s cheese!
Ok, Nicke. I give up.
Come to TP3069 at the groundfloor of “Täppan”, Linköping University, Campus Norrköping 2007-02-05 at 13:15 and I’ll tell you in person. (Thats when and where I will defend my thesis).
I would love to but only if u come and clean my room here in Canada…
Jag tror att det är en new-pavo12-dn_2
Rat intestines? For real Ebbe… You must have been able to find something better than that.
Hehe Boaa
Well… I think the rat intestines are pretty cool. But yes, I’ve also been working on reconstructing human body parts, a the brain of a fruit fly, the entire body of the rat as well as a old airship previously used by the Taiwanese military.
But my thesis was more about finding an automatic way to reconstruct these surfaces, the datasets are only used to display the result
(sorry for the late reply…)
Oh, a note for all animal friends out there.
No animals were harmed during the development of neither my thesis or this homepage
